RMC customers who utilize our storage facilities can also benefit from our transport capabilities, based on our fleet of trucks and vans. Our services include full and multiple load services, through to part load, pallet distribution and parcel deliveries. Customer-specific co-packing services cover the re-labelling and picking and packing often associated with the distribution of imported goods.
HM Bahamas Customs (HMBC)
Fully approved and subject to regular audits by HM Bahamas Customs (HMBC), RUSSMILL’s Freeport based dry bonded warehouse is secure with 24/7 security, computerized stock systems and web-based access to stock records, which enables us to view stock levels in real time.
Once the customer notifies RUSSMILL that the imported goods are en route to Freeport, Grand Bahama, Bahamas, RUSSMILL deals with all the Customs procedures and related paperwork. This includes liaising with the client’s shipping agent, arranging delivery from the port of entry in Grand Bahama, Bahamas directly into RMC’s bonded warehouse in Freeport, Grand Bahama. We then notify the customer once the goods are recorded and stored at our warehouse.
When the customer wishes to issue the goods from bond, RUSSMILL makes the necessary arrangements with HMBC on their behalf, including payment of VAT and duty, if necessary, as well as arranging onward delivery to a chosen destination, if required.
